Key Responsibilities

Oversee proximate analysis including moisture, ash, protein, fat, fiber, carbohydrates and energy value

Ensure accurate execution of routine and high-volume testing

Manage workload planning, analyst allocation and turnaround times

Review analytical data, QC results and final reports

Implement SOPs and ensure adherence to ISO 17025 and FSSAI guidelines

Handle equipment calibration, maintenance, and consumable management
-
Support proficiency testing (PT), IQC and corrective/preventive actions
-
Train team members on methods, calculations and reporting standards
Qualification & Experience:
-
M.Sc. Chemistry / Food Chemistry / Food Technology
-
7–10 years experience in proximate testing within food laboratories
-
Strong knowledge of gravimetric and volumetric methods
